Search tips
Here are some tips on what to enter as Search text and how to expand or narrow the scope of the MyLab's search results.
- Use singular terms for the Search text. For example, if you want to find every Resource topic or asset that covers something about verbs, type verb, and Search will find both singular and plural instances. However, if you enter verbs, the MyLab ignores any instances that use only the singular form verb.
- Find specific assets. If you know the title of a specific asset type, type only one keyword from the asset title. For example, if the asset is titled "Longman Lectures," type Longman or lecture and all of those assets will come up.
- Find ESL and ELL materials. In addition to searching topic and asset titles, you can also search for materials that were developed for English as a second language (ESL) and English-language learner (ELL) students. You can enter ESL, ELL, or non-native as the Search text to find them.
