The Flow of Drafts Between You and the Instructor

A topic's Write exercise is an exchange of drafts between you and the instructor:

  1. You write a draft and submit it to the instructor.
  2. The instructor reviews the draft, provides feedback and comments, enters a temporary grade, and sends the draft back to you.
  3. You review the comments, revise the draft, and submit it again.
  4. Steps 2 and 3 repeat until either the instructor gives you a final grade or you exhaust the maximum number of drafts allowed. (The instructor sets the maximum number of drafts allowed.)

Depending on how your instructor set up your course, you may also be able to submit drafts of Writing Practice exercises to your instructor for review. If this is the case, the MyLab displays the same links and icons for these drafts as it does for Write Exercises.
