Work Through a Study Skills Scenario
A study skill topic's Scenario presents a situation, and you write a response explaining how you would handle the situation.
To work through a scenario:
- Display the study-skill scenario.
- Click the Activity link or its Begin button.
You can stop midway through a set or between sets. When you come back to the topic page, click the activity's Resume button to pick up where you left off.
As you answer the questions, note the following:
- You can increase or decrease the size of the text by clicking the Font Size icons, .
- If you prefer viewing the text in a bigger reading area, click to open the content in a separate window. Also, if you prefer working from hard copy, click the new window's Print button to print the text.
- To review the video or text available in the Review Materials section, choose an option from the Need a refresher? drop-down list at the bottom of the page.
- Click the Save button to save your answer as you work.
- Click the Submit button to signify that you have completed your answer.
After you submit your answer, the MyLab gives you feedback on the question.
- Click the Show Results button after you answer all the questions to see your answers and the MyLab feedback.
- Click the Return to Topic button to return to continue working on the topic.
