The Gradebook > Custom View page is your personal gradebook view. It is similar to the Gradebook > Grades pages but typically contains fewer grade columns. You select which student grades you want to see on this page.
To create the custom view, you can copy any column from the Gradebook > Grades page to your Custom View page. The columns you select are also visible to students on their Custom View page. To control which columns appear in the student view, see Control the student gradebook view.
To copy a column to a custom view:
Note: If you hide a column from students on the Grades page and then add that column to the Custom View, it becomes visible to students by default.
Tip: Use the scroll bars to view additional student records and gradebook columns. If there are more than 50 students or more than 200 columns, page navigation is available at the bottom of page. Use the page navigation to view additional students or columns or to select a particular page you want to view.
To remove a column from a custom view:
The column is removed from Custom View, but remains available on the Grades page.
Tip: The Remove from Custom View option is also available on the Grades page from the options menu of any column that is saved to Custom View.
The columns saved to Custom View inherit the same percentage or raw score display format as the Grades page. To adjust the display format on Custom View, you must make the change on the Grades page. Any changes to the Grades page are reflected on the Custom View page.
Use the column options menu to edit grades and view submissions from the Custom View page. Any grades you edit on Custom View also change in all other places where that grade appears, including the Grades page. For details on how to edit grades, see Edit grades in the gradebook.

You can download your Custom View page using the Download button. For details, see Download gradebook data.
