Adding Line Item Details

You can add line item details for a new order. A line item is comprised of line item, license, and product details.

To add line item details:

1. Under Line Item Details, in the Line Item ID box, enter the identifier of the line item for the order.
2. From the Status list, select the order status. If you are placing an order for the first time, the status is New and cannot be changed.

To add license details:

1. From the Type list under License, select the category of license.
2. In the Start and End Date boxes, enter the active date range for the license. Users can subscribe to and access the product within these dates.
3. In the Quantity box, enter the number of license seats available. When a student subscribes to the product using a license, a seat is consumed. However, instructors subscribe to products without consuming seats.

To add product details:

Under Product, do one of the following to look up product details:

• In the Name box, enter the product's title or 13-digit ISBN to look up the name of the product. If suggested results are available, they appear as you type. Select the product name you want. RADmin automatically completes the ID box with a value you can change.
• In the ID box, enter the product's 13-digit ISBN stands for International Standard Book Number. There are two types of ISBNs: * Print Item ISBNs are used for identifying books, access code cards, and other printed material. These are sometimes called component ISBNs. * Electronic Content ISBNs are used for online purchases. These are sometimes called virtual ISBNs. The two ISBN formats are ISBN-13 and ISBN-10.
