Create mathematical graphs for economics

Updated 16 Jun 2023

In economics courses, you can use the math graphing tool to plot graphs that incorporate mathematical values and equations. For example, use this option to illustrate a specific market described by defined numerical values or equations.

To access the math graphing tool, click Graph in the left menu to open the Edit Graph window.

See Create mathematical graphs for details on using the Edit Graph window.

To create conceptual graphs, click Freehand Graph in the left menu to open the Freehand Graph window, where you can plot graphs with x- and y-axes and use a tool palette to draw objects on your graphs. For example, use this option to illustrate a general market concept.
