Manage choices

The Multiple Choice Options window contains all the controls you need to create and edit your custom multiple-choice and true/false answers.

To access the Multiple Choice Options window, put your cursor in any row of a multiple-choice or true/false answer.

About the Multiple Choice Options

  • the correct answer - With your cursor in the row with the correct answer, select this option to indicate which choice is the correct answer.
  • locked in place - With your cursor in the row you want to lock, select this option to ensure that this choice always shows in its current position in the list. If you do not select this option, the order of the choices changes each time students access the question.

    For example, you can use this option to ensure that All of the above or None of the above is always the last choice in the list.

  • Manage Choices - With your cursor in the row you want to edit, use this dropdown list to move, add, and delete choices:
    • Move Choice Up moves the current answer up one position in the list.
    • Move Choice Down moves the current answer down one position in the list.
    • Insert Choice Above adds another answer choice above the current one.
    • Insert Choice Below adds another answer choice below the current one.
    • Delete Choice removes the current answer.
  • Feedback and Settings - Click this button to open the Edit Multiple Choice window, where you can set the properties and feedback for the answer.
