Document sharing

In some courses, instructors and section instructors can share documents, presentations, and audio/video files with the class by uploading them and creating folders to store them. You control when the documents are shared with the class.

To give students direct access to shared files from other locations in the course, you can link to uploaded files from other content items or assignments within your course.

• Students can use Document Sharing to upload their own files and share them with the instructor. The instructor can then choose whether to share a student file with the class.
• Document Sharing files are included in course copies.

  Any files you add to a course display in all copies of the course.

  If another instructor copies one of your courses — The Document Sharing files you added to the original course are present in the copy. Your username identifies you as the original poster.
