Take tests and quizzes

Your course offers different types of tests and quizzes that you can take online:

Your instructor can assign tests and quizzes that count toward your grade.
In your Study Plan, you also can take Quiz Me quizzes to prove that you have mastered a section or objective.
You can take sample tests to prepare for assigned tests and to update your Study Plan.

Tests and quizzes usually contain a list of questions for you to answer.

To take a test or quiz:

Click the name of an assigned test in the course home page or on the Homework and Tests page. If you are taking a Quiz Me quiz, click the button in your Study Plan.
Read the information on the "Are you ready to start?" page.
If the test or quiz requires the Pearson LockDown Browser, you see a warning icon and a Check Your Browser button. See Take locked-down tests for more information.
Click I am ready to start to launch the player and begin taking the test.

Your score is used to update your Study Plan, which tells you the sections or objectives you need to practice next and gives you practice questions to work.
