Create an Assignment page

You use this page when creating or editing, copying, or moving a MediaShare assignment. The settings and options that you work with on this page are as follows.

Select a Course: Use this drop-down list to copy or move the assignment to another course.

Assignment Title: Enter the assignment title as you want it to appear in the MediaShare course.

Due Date: Click in the text box to display the pop-up calendar. Then select the assignment's due date from the calendar.

Assignment Description: Enter an assignment description or purpose. Students can view this information when they work on the assignment.

Publishing Options: Click the following links to display descriptions of the publishing options.

Note: When you choose to moderate comments and submissions, students may not realize that this is why their submissions are not published immediately, and they may try to republish them. Let your students know when you will be moderating and publishing comments and/or submissions.

Submission Options: Students can submit either videos or documents for an assignment. Click the following links to display descriptions of the submission options.

Supporting Materials: Adding support materials to an assignment is optional. If you add materials to an assignment, they are available only through the assignment. For more information, see Add support materials.
