Open an eTextbook in a browser

1. With your course open in a browser, select Pearson eTextbook or eText from the course menu.

   If you don’t see this option, an eTextbook might not be enabled for your course.

2. Select Launch eText(book), Open my eTextbook, or a similar option on the page that opens.

   The eTextbook opens in its own browser tab or window.

Some course assignments might open to an eTextbook section that can help you to study or answer questions.

What is Pearson+?

Pearson+ is a learning hub with affordable student tools for school or starting a career. It can provide you and your students with access to the following resources, some of which may require a student purchase. (Pearson+ is also the name of a mobile app for your eTextbook that provides access to the same resources. More about the Pearson+ app)

• eTextbooks associated with your Pearson account. In addition to eTextbooks associated with their MyLab or Mastering courses, students can purchase subscriptions to other eTextbooks.
• Study Prep videos and practice questions for different areas of study. Students can purchase subscriptions to Study Prep they don't have access to.
• Job match for internships and job matching.
• Partners and Offers provides language learning (from Mondly by Pearson) and student discounts or offers relevant to student life.

1. Open a web browser and go to Pearson+.
2. Sign in or create an account if you are new to Pearson products. It’s best practice to associate all your Pearson products with one account.

   The Pearson+ site automatically signs you in if you have an open MyLab or Mastering course.

3. To open the last eTextbook you had open, select Open eTextbook below its book cover. Otherwise, select Open book for any other eTextbook in your Library.

   Return to Pearson+ from your open eTextbook —
   Select from the menu.

When an eTextbook link is available from a Learning Management System course (such as Blackboard, D2L Brightspace, Canvas, Moodle, Sakai, or Schoology), some links might open to the eTextbook associated with your MyLab or Mastering course. How to add links to an eTextbook from an LMS course
