Manage the Gradebook

As an instructor
Select Gradebook Settings (Getting Started area) from the Course Home, and then select one of the tabs listed below.

Gradebook Preferences
To control your personal view of the Gradebook, set Gradebook display preferences.
Categories and Weighting
- To create a new category for assignments in the course, see add an assignment category .
- Weight assignments by category so tests, quizzes, homework, and labs can contribute differently to students' total scores in Mastering.
Offline Activities (completed outside Mastering)
- To add scores into the Gradebook for labs or other work not completed in Mastering, see create and enter scores for offline activities.
- Import grades for non-Mastering activities from an external gradebook.
Export Gradebook Data
You can export scores, times, or difficulty ratings for assignments.
