Set your Gradebook view preferences

Mastering Gradebook preferences are applied per user, so different instructors
If you experience slow display times for the Gradebook, see Gradebook tips and tricks.
- From the Course Home: Select Gradebook Settings (Getting Started area).
From the course menu: Select Gradebook and then Gradebook Settings.
- Select options for your preferences (see next section).
- Select Save.
Option | Description |

Display Grades in the Gradebook as Points or Percentages |
Scores are computed identically in either case. You can change this setting at any time without affecting scoring data. Students always see their assignment scores as percentages on their Scores page. This setting also determines the Standard Gradebook Format used if you export Mastering scores to a .csv file.

Show Student ID column |
Displays student IDs in the Gradebook. Student IDs can match school IDs or follow another format or convention you choose. Details about using student IDs in your course |

Show for-credit item completion thermometers

The for-credit item completion thermometers show the portion of for-credit items students completed in a standard Mastering assignment. Thermometers help you determine whether a low score may be from either a lack of understanding or not completing enough items.

Show for-practice item completion thermometers

The for-practice item completion thermometers show the portion of for-practice items the student completed in a standard Mastering assignment. Thermometers help you determine whether a low score may be from either a lack of understanding or not completing enough items.
