Transfer grades between Mastering courses

Adjust student scores for an assignment
To change the score for students on an individual assignment, use the assignment adjustment settings. This is the easiest way to make grade changes for a select number or all students.
Import the total score of students from one Mastering course into another
- Open the Mastering Gradebook and select Filter.
- Enter a range for Find Students with Total Scores. You can also choose whether to filter by assignment category or student groups, if applicable. Select Save.
- Select Export Gradebook Data then select Standard Gradebook Format to create a .csv (comma separated values) file.
- Create an offline activity in the Mastering course into which you want to import the total grades from the other course.
- Import the scores file from the first Mastering course.
- To do this, select Gradebook, Gradebook Settings, Offline Activities, then select Choose File and navigate to select the .csv file you created in step 3.
- Select Import.
Create an offline activity for each assignment and manually add the scores
- Open the Assignments list in the original course.
- In a new browser session, open the second course and refer to the Assignments list as you create an offline activity for each of the assignments in the original course whose scores you want to import.
- Use either of the following methods to get the assignment scores into the offline activity list in the second course.

Open the Gradebook in the original course and manually enter the score for each assignment into the offline activities in the Gradebook of the second course. - Export a file from course 1, enter scores in the file, then import the file into course 2 —
- In the original course, select Gradebook Settings, Offline Activities, Import Scores, then select Export a template for importing scores to create a .csv file. Open the .csv file and manually enter the scores for each assignment.
- In the second course, select Gradebook Settings, Offline Activities, Choose File, select the .csv file you exported from the original course and edited, and then select Import to populate the scores of the offline activities you added earlier.
