Create assignments

The Assignment Builder takes you through the process of creating an assignment. The number of steps depends on the type of assignment. The procedures for creating assignments are:

Create a composition assignment
Create a collaboration assignment
Create a peer-review Assignment
Create a portfolio assignment
Create a skill-building assignment
Create a diagnostic assignment

Once an assignment is created, you can:

Edit the assignment
Test the assignment
Review and grade students' submissions for the assignment

Change the assignment from active to inactive (or inactive to active). The MyLab removes an inactive assignment from the students' assignment lists, removes an inactive assignment from the gradebook, and grays the assignment in your assignment list.
Delete the assignment
