Audio commenting
When you are reviewing a student's composition or collaboration submission in the composing space, you can record an audio comment that the composing space attaches to the submission. The audio comment can be the sole comment or it can be in addition to other comments you entered in the student's text or file attachments. When you click either the Return for Rewrite or Submit button, the composing space sends the submission to the student with all your comments, at which point the student has access to and can play the audio comment. The MyLab also saves the audio comment in the assignment's draft history.
If you are having problems setting up your microphone, see the document Troubleshooting Microphone Setup for Audio Commenting. This document will be updated as information becomes available.
The composing space does not transcribe your audio comments. For students who cannot access an audio recording, one option is to type your comments in the composing space, and another is to attach a document file with your comments.
