My Study Plan

My Study Plan is a student's personalized learning path for working through Resources. The MyLab creates the learning path by listing a student's required Resources in My Study Plan.

• Based on the results of a student's self-assessment diagnostics or a diagnostic assignment, the MyLab adds topics to that student's My Study Plan that will help the student improve his or her skills. These Resources are added on a student-by-student basis.
• Resources that you have required appear on every student's My Study Plan.
• Resource links from any Common Errors and My Comments that you insert in a student's composition or collaboration assignment are listed in that student's My Study Plan.

To view My Study Plan:

You do not have access to any student's My Study Plan. However, if you have already required Resources, you can preview My Study Plan to view the results of just those Resources.

1. Do one of the following:
   • Select Student View at the top of the course window.
   • Click the Preview as Student button in Resources.

   A message is displayed advising you that you are switching to student view. Click Continue to proceed.

2. Click the To Do tab.
3. Expand My Study Plan.

Other places students see links to Resources

When you create an assignment that has links to Resource topics, students have access to those topics from the Assignment Details window. When you add a Common Error or My Comment with Resource links, these links are also displayed in the assignment's draft history.
