Student self-assessment diagnostics

Resources include grammar and research self-assessment diagnostics that students can take on their own. Based on a student's results, the MyLab requires Resource topics that will help the student improve his or her skill level. The MyLab flags these required topics with the Required by Diagnostic icon in Resources and the gradebook, and lists them in My Study Plan.

The MyLab also posts the results of self-assessment diagnostics and all other exercise scores in the gradebook, so both you and the student can track the student's progress.

Tip: To develop your own assessment tests, see Create a diagnostic assignment.
