Create notecards in NoodleBib

This procedure covers creating a notecard affiliated with a NoodleBib citation. Also refer to the NoodleBib User's Guide for guidelines on note taking, information on creating notecards that are not associated with a citation, and information on accessing and managing your notecards. (The NoodleBib User's Guide is accessible through the Help button in the NoodleBib window.) 

Note: The NoodleBib feature may or may not be available depending on the instructor's course settings. 

To add a notecard affiliated with a citation:

1. Open the assignment or click the Composing tab to display the composing space.
2. Click the Cite Sources link under Research (in the composing space's Writer's Toolkit).

   The Cite My Sources window opens.

3. Click the Create/Edit List button.

   The My Lists page is displayed.

4. Click the source list you are adding notes to.

   NoodleBib expands the source list.

5. Click Notecards in the navigation bar at the top of the window.

   The Notecards page is displayed.

6. Click the New Notecard button.

   The New Notecard screen is displayed.

7. Complete the appropriate entries for the notecard.
8. Click the Create Notecard button (at the bottom of the screen).

   NoodleBib creates the notecard and links it to the source you specified.
