You can edit the Study Plan to restrict student access to the Tests. For example, you may want students to complete the Practice sets before they can take a Test. You specify the student access to Tests on the Study Plan Properties page. (Show me this property.)
The Student Access To Tests Is Based On setting determines when students can access a topic's Test. Click an option below to display its description.
No restriction: Tests are always available:
Completion of one Practice set:
Completion of ALL Practice sets:
Mastery OR completion of ALL sets:
Note: If you are restricting students' access to tests based on their mastery of practice sets and you are assigning topics, any students who have not achieved mastery of the practice sets cannot access the tests and cannot complete an assigned topic. In this case, you may want to change the restricted-access setting to ensure that all students have access to the tests regardless of mastery.
You can control the number of Recall, Practice, and Test sets that the MyLab displays to students, the mastery score for these sets, and whether or not students must complete Tests to achieve mastery. See Study Plan: Recall, Practice, and Test Properties for more information.
