Some writing topics have Apply Writing exercises. This type of Apply Exercise displays a block of content that you read and then answer questions about the content. There are several questions on this content, and as you complete each answer, the next question appears. The content remains in view as you work through the questions.
To work through an Apply writing exercise set:
The MyLab lets you know if the answer is correct or incorrect. For an incorrect answer, the MyLab also displays the correct answer in bold green.
As you work through the exercise:

. The content is now displayed in a
separate window.
And, if you prefer working from hard copy, click the new window's Print button to print the content.
After you click Submit, the MyLab shows you whether the answer is right or wrong. If the answer is wrong, the MyLab displays the correct answer in bold green and displays an explanation of why that is the correct answer.
