With text match questions you define the question and keywords or key phrases that students can enter for the answer. Each keyword or phrase has an associated score. You also define the number of lines that students can enter. Students enter words or phrase in the answer box and their score is based on the presence or absence of the defined keywords or phrases.
When creating or editing your question, you can switch
among sections at any time. However, you may need to complete one section
prior to opening another. If this is the case, a message appears directing you to enter the required information. You can click a section or subsection's bar to expand or collapse it.
The course saves your input as you enter it. To preview
your question at any time, click Preview.
Tip: To view
an example of the question type, click Sample Question.

Although you can add activities to the Course Materials Library or My Course list, it is strongly recommended that you create all activities in the Course Materials Library and then move them to the My Course list where you can set appropriate scheduling.
If you do add an activity directly to the My Course list, you will be prompted to save the new activity to the Course Materials Library. In this case, navigate to and select the Course Materials Library folder where you want to save the activity and then click Add and Close.
Another option for creating course materials is to use Course Materials Wizard. To access the wizard, select Course Materials from the menu bar. This wizard lets you add assignments by taking you to the Course Materials Library, copy materials from another course using the Course Materials Library, and manage your content library. Refer to Using the Course Materials Wizard for more information.
In the Edit
Question subsection, enter a Question
title of up to 100 characters to identify the
question in the Question Bank.
To define the answer, score, and any optional feedback:
