Manage course groups
In most courses, you can use course groups to manage multiple sections of the same course.

A course group contains:
- A coordinator course - The master course used as the template for all the courses in the course group. Students do not enroll in coordinator courses.
- Member courses - Copies of the coordinator course that are linked to the coordinator and are used to teach each section in the course group. Students enroll in the member courses.
To manage all the member sections in a course group, the owner of the coordinator course edits the coordinator course. Changes to the coordinator course automatically apply to its member sections and override any customizations in the members. Changes to a member course do not affect other courses in the course group.
