Change due dates and assign status
Updated 10 Jan 2024
You can edit assigned status, start and due dates, late submission settings, and password settings for multiple tests.
If you are editing a coordinator program, you can choose whether to update member sections with only your new changes or with all coordinator program settings (potentially overwriting individual section instructor changes).
- From the Test Manager, select Change Dates & Assign Status.
- Choose how to change the dates:
- Select Use Calendar for Dates to specify start and due dates by calendar date.
- Select Use Add/Subtract Days for Dates to change test dates by shifting the dates forward or backward by the number of days you enter in the box.
This option is helpful when you are working with copies of existing programs.
- Check the box to the left of one or more test names to select them. Check the box in the header to select all tests.
- Under Assignment you see the test names. Select Review Individual Student Settings to view individual student settings for the test.
- Under Assigned column, choose to assign or unassign the test.
- Under Start, select a start date:
- If you chose calendar dates, select a new date and optionally a time.
- If you chose to add or subtract days, choose whether to add or subtract and enter the number of days in the box.
- Under Late Submission, if you chose calendar dates, check Allow late submission to allow students to continue working on the
test after the due date.
Optionally check Final submission and enter the closing date and time for late submissions
- Under Test/Quiz Access, optionally enter a password students must use to access a test.
- In the top row, click Apply to Selected to apply the setting to all the selected tests.
- Choose how to apply your changes:
- If you are not editing a coordinator program, select Apply to Selected to change the dates for all checked assignments.
- If you are editing a coordinator program, select Update All Settings to apply all old and new coordinator program settings to member programs. This option overrides any settings changed within individual member programs. Select Update Changes Only to apply only your new settings to all member programs.
When a test has individual student settings, you might be asked whether to override individual settings. If you select No, all individual settings are retained, including LockDown Browser and proctoring settings.
