Change test settings for individual students

1. On the Individual Student Settings page, choose the Student tab.
2. Select Add Student.

   If you already selected students, optionally select Manage Student List to edit the list of students.

3. Check the names of students who need individual settings, select the arrow to move them into the Students with Individual Settings box, and select Save.

   If you have tagged students, select All Student Tags to filter the list of students by tag.

4. From the Student list, select a student.
5. Select Add/Remove Assignments.

   If you have tagged tests, select All Assignment Tags to filter the list of tests by tag.

6. Check the names of tests, select the arrow to move them into the Assignments with Individual Settings box, and select Save.
7. In the left column of the table, select the tests.
8. In the top row of the table, choose the settings you want to apply to the tests for the student.
9. Select Update Selected to apply the settings to all checked tests.

   You also can choose settings for individual tests in their rows in the table.

1. On the Individual Student Settings page, choose the Assignment tab.
2. Optionally filter the list by tag (if used).
3. From the Assignment list, choose the test.
4. Select Add/Remove Students.
5. Check the names of students, select the arrow to move them into the Students with Individual Settings box, and select Save.
6. In the left column of the table, select the students.
7. In the top row of the table, choose the settings you want to apply to the students for the test.
8. Select Update Selected to apply the settings to all checked students.

   You also can choose settings for individual students in their rows in the table.

You can edit test settings for individual students from their Results page:

1. In your Gradebook, locate the test and select Actions > Settings Per Student.
2. On the Individual Student Settings page, select Use Individual Student Settings.
3. Choose your settings and select Save Settings.

• If you edit the test settings for the entire class after applying individual student settings, you can choose whether to apply the class settings to students with individual settings.
• Individual student settings are not transferred to a copied test.
• In a program group, changes made to an test in the coordinator program do not affect individual student settings.
• A student's individual test settings are not transferred if the student switches to another section of the program.

You can see a test's individual student settings:

1. From the Test Manager, select Actions > Settings for Class for the test.
2. Select Review Individual Student Settings.
