Restrict tests to specific IP addresses

If your institution uses proxy servers to control student access to the internet, you can require students to use these proxies when taking tests. For example, if you restrict tests to a proxy server accessible only from a computer lab, students have to take the tests in that lab.

You can access restricted tests without using the proxy server when you work using an instructor account.

Proxy servers are identified by their IP addresses — for example 192.68.12.0. To restrict tests to one or more proxy servers, you first need the IP addresses. Contact your local lab or IT administrator to get the required addresses.
