What's new in this release?

Streamlined assignment creation

With the Quick setup option, you can create some or all of your assignments more quickly. Just select chapters, select the day of the week you want assignments due, and in few minutes, your assignments appear on your Dashboard. Easy!

New assessment types

Some courses now include multiple-part questions with graphed answers, in addition to familiar multiple-choice questions. Business and economics course materials may include case study assessments that let you read a passage and then answer a set of associated questions.

Your course materials may include dynamic study modules that let students answer questions as many times as they need to get to the correct answer. Unlike other Revel assessments, scores for these assessments appear after the student answers all questions correctly or the due date passes. Student progress on DSMs appears in the gradebook even if they didn't complete the module.

In quantitative courses, you may see multiple-part questions that include graphing as well as the familiar multiple-choice questions. Business and economics course materials may also contain case study assessments that let you read a passage and then answer associated questions.

Give your students access to 24/7 online tutoring

If your institution has a Smarthinking license agreement, you can enable online tutoring for your students. This service is available all day, every day and covers a wide variety of topics, from basic to advanced. Students who used the tool saw an average of .5 GPA improvement. Nice!

Fast and easy due date extensions

You can now extend an entire assignment's due date for an individual student in a single step. You can still change the due date for an assignment item or two if you want, as you could before. So, now you can:

• Change an assignment or assignment item's due date for individual students
