In your book, you can add highlights and notes to your book or assignments at any time, and share them with students if you want.

From your notebook you can also:

• Create custom notes that aren't associated with a particular spot in the book; for example, notes from class lectures
• Use notes or highlights to navigate your book or assignments
• Add web links to notes
• Delete or edit highlights, notes, or both
• Filter notes by chapter or color/pattern
• Export notes to a PDF file

Open the Notebook

1. From the Create assignment, Edit assignment , or Instructor Resources page, open your book.
2. In the left pane, select the Notebook tab.
