Add media

To add video, audio, or animation with the Simple Editor, you must add a link to the media, so that it opens in a new tab or window.

You can also embed a small image in an item which opens media in a new window when students select the image. For instructions, see Add a link to a thumbnail image (to make the thumbnail selectable).

The Insert/edit media options from the editing toolbar and menus are no longer supported. (Such media has browser handling issues when students play the media. The same applies to media embedded using the Advanced Editor.) Change any such embedded media to link to the media instead, so that the media opens in a new tab or window.
