Omit or delete results
You can omit the results of an assignment for your whole class to exclude the results from student averages. You also can omit results for individual students or delete results for multiple students or assignments.
- In your Gradebook, select More Tools > Omit Assignment Results to open the Change Weights and Categories page.
- In the list of assignments, select the check box in the Omit Results column.
- In your Gradebook, select a student's name to open the instructor view of their Results page.
- Locate the assignment and select Actions > Omit.
Select Actions > Include to restore a result.
If an assignment has no results, the gradebook submits a zero score and then omits that result. If you later include the result, you might need to submit a new score to replace the zero.
Deleted results cannot be restored. If you might need to restore results, omit them instead.
- In your Gradebook, select More Tools > Delete Results to open the Delete Results page.
- On the Assignments tab, select the check box beside the assignments whose results you want to delete
- Select Delete Selected Results and confirm.
Deleted results cannot be restored. If you might need to restore results, omit them instead.
