Edit tests

You can modify or delete a test as long as no student has started to work on it.
To change the due dates or assigned status of multiple tests, see Change due dates and assign status.
To edit a practice test, you must copy it first.
Edit a test
- From the Test Manager, select Actions > Edit for the test.
- Go to the step you need:
- Step 1 lets you edit the test name.
- Step 2 lets you add and remove questions.
- Step 3 lets you change test settings.
You can go directly to Step 3 by selecting Actions > Settings for Class from the Test Manager.
Change settings for multiple tests
- From the Test Manager, select More Tools > Change Settings for Multiple Assignments.
- Select Test as the assignment type.
- Choose the tests to edit:
- Select All Assignments to apply your changes to all tests.
- Select Specific Assignments > Choose to select individual tests.
- Choose the settings you want to apply to the selected tests.
Change credit options for multiple tests
- From the Test Manager, select Actions > Change Test Settings for the test.
- Optionally enter a new name for the test.
- Check Allow Import to allow other instructors to import the test to their programs.
- Check Partial Credit to award partial credit for multipart questions.
This option is not available for adaptive tests or assignments with results.
- Select Update Settings to apply your changes.
Delete tests
To delete a single test from the Test Manager, select Actions > Delete.
To delete multiple tests:
- From the Test Manager, select More Tools > Delete Tests.
- Check each test you want to delete.
- Select Delete Assignments.
Reorder tests
- From the Test Manager, select More Tools >Reorder Tests for the test.
- Select a test and drag it to the new location.
