Remove Pearson integration settings
You can use a partner, including Barnes & Noble, Follett-Willo, RedShelf, or VitalSource, to open your MyLab or Mastering course from your LMS. If your course is currently integrated with a MyLab and Mastering course, first remove the integration settings from your LMS course. Otherwise, students could be confused and might be asked to purchase access multiple times.
Direct Integrations: Removing these settings doesn't apply to Direct integrations.
- Open your Blackboard course.
- Select the MyLab and Mastering or Access Pearson link and then Open MyLab & Mastering. Don't see the link or need details?
- Turn off grade sync. (If available, select the Grade Sync tab and then Off for Automatic Grade Sync.)
- (MyLab and Mastering tool for Blackboard only) Under Customization in the Control Panel, select Tool Availability. Clear the check boxes for Pearson's MyLab and Mastering (Content) and Pearson's and Mastering (Tools). Then Select Submit.
- Delete MyLab and Mastering grades and assignments from the Blackboard Grade Center.
- Hide any MyLab and Mastering or Access Pearson links.
- Delete all MyLab and Mastering links, including assignment or tool links, from the content area.
- If you already set up the course outside the partner integration, delete the original course pairing. Then open MyLab and Mastering from within the partner integration and pair again.
