Golden Gate ingestion and deployment

There are 4 steps to Golden Gate ingestion and deployment:

1. Ingest an ePub file into Golden Gate: There are 2 methods for ingesting files:
   • Upload the file from your computer or
   • Use FTP to transfer a file from the Revel and eText 2.0 FTP server.

     For eText 2.0 you can use the FTP server to bulk upload up to 25 ePub files into Golden Gate.

2. Edit metadata: After uploading an ePub file, you can add or edit certain metadata.
3. Upload to EPS: A title is uploaded into EPS to ready it for deployment.
4. Deploy: Publish to production server.
