Take a Path Builder

Important: If you're in an ACCUPLACER//MyLab or MyLab Nursing course, go to ACCUPLACER//MyLab: Work on your Learning Paths or MyLab Nursing: Work on your Learning Paths.

Take a Path Builder from the Learning Path tab

  1. Display the Course Home.
  2. Select the Learning Path tab.
  3. Select a Path Builder button. Or, for a Reading Level, select the Lexile Locator button.

    A course may have Path Builder buttons for multiple disciplines, such as Math and Writing. But there is only one Lexile Locator.

    You're now on the "Are you ready to start?" page.

Different courses have different content areas, and not all content areas have a Path Builder. For example, the Study Skills content area does not have a Path Builder.

After you complete a Path Builder, the Next Activity button is displayed. Select it to work on the next activity in the content area's learning path. See Work on your Learning Paths for more information.

When taking a Path Builder is optional, you can still take it, or retake it, from the Learning Path page. See Work on your Learning Paths for details.
