Tests, homework, and quizzes
In a MyLab Nursing course, a lesson typically has a Pre-test; Review, Remember, and Apply activities; and a Post-test. Some lessons also have Case Studies. In the MyLab's Gradebook pages, these activities are referred to as tests, homework, and quizzes:
- Tests are a lesson's pre-tests and post-tests.
- Homework comprises Review, Remember, and Apply activities. Some lessons also have Introductions that are considered part of the homework.
- Quizzes are the case studies.
MyLab Nursing requires that you complete the activities and assessments this order: pre-test, review, remember, apply, and post-test. Also, by default, your scores for pre-tests, homework, and case studies do not count toward your final grade. The full final grade is based on the post-test. (Your instructor may have changed the prerequisites and how final grades are calculated.)
