View results for individual students
You can view a student's results on tests and Study Plan work, recommend course enrollment, and manage individual test results from their Results page.
To access a student's Results page, select the student's name in your Gradebook.
You can:
- Select the student's name to send email to the student.
- Use the previous and next arrows at the top of the page to move from one student's results to another.
- Select Change to open the Add / Edit Student IDs page, where you can enter a new student ID in the text box to change the student's ID number. This option appears only when you require students to enter their IDs.)
- If you use the Study Plan, select Study Plan Results to view a student's progress in the Study Plan.
- Select Recommend Course to go to the Recommend Course window to place the student in a course.
If the student has already been placed, select Change to choose a different course.
- Readiness — For adaptive math tests, open the Readiness and Item Analysis page, where you can see the student's scores and how the student performed on each question in an adaptive test. (See Create an adaptive math test for details on adaptive testing.)
- Review — If the student has worked on the test, open the student's test in the player where you can review the student's work.
Use the Actions list
Depending on the test and the results, the Actions list contains these options:
- Email Student — Email a student about the test.
- Review — Review the student's work and comment on individual questions. Available for tests with complete or partial results.
- Item Analysis — View how the student did on each question in the test.
- Change/Submit Score — Change the student's score or submit a score if there are no results or incomplete results.
- Print — Print the test with the student's answers and the correct answers. This option is not available for adaptive tests.
- Settings per Student — Change the test settings (such as time limit or due date) only for this student. (This option is not available in coordinator programs.)
- Omit / Include — Omit the student's results.
- Delete — Permanently delete the student's results. Available for tests with results and those marked "incomplete."
- Enable Access — Let the student resume taking a restricted or blocked test.
- Dismiss Prereq / Reapply Prereq — For tests with unmet prerequisites, let the student do the test without satisfying its prerequisite.
