Show course details
Select Details next to a specific course on the My Courses page to see your course information and use other tools.
Information on the details page varies depending on the course type and may include:
- Your Role
- Last Sign In
- Course ID
- Course Type
- Course Creation Date
- Paired with LMS (learning management system), if applicable
- Allow Copy setting
- Course Copy History
- Original Materials
Student courses and member sections only:
- Maximum Course End Date
The maximum course end date shows the last possible date you can allow students can access the course. Select Edit course details to change your course end date.

Some course products, such as the Instructor Resource Center and standalone Mastering courses, don’t have a course ID. Select Details to open the Product Details page for more information, such as the subscription dates.
Instructor(s) includes both the primary instructor (course owner) and any section instructors that you choose to show in students’ course details.
Teaching Staff includes only the promoted teaching assistants that you choose to show in students’ course details.
The following tools are available for all course types unless otherwise indicated.
Copy and share the course ID with students so they can enroll in a student course or member section, or share the course ID with instructors who want to copy your course.
Students can’t enroll in instructor or coordinator courses, so never share a course ID for an instructor or coordinator course with students.
Create a new course based on the current course.
If a new edition or new version of your original course materials is available, you can select the more recent materials for your new course.
Learning management system (LMS) customers: You can’t copy the course from the Course Details page. For how to manage and copy courses, see LMS Help.
Open the list of all enrolled students. Use the roster to make a student active or inactive in a course, or promote a student to teaching assistant.
