Mobile apps for Pearson eText or eText 2.0
After you open a book in Pearson eText or eText 2.0 at least once from a Mastering course, you can also access the same eText on a mobile device using a mobile app.
- Any work you do in the eText, like adding highlights, notes, or bookmarks, is synced between your personal view of the mobile app and the web-based eText. The same is true for students.
- Whether your text is available in eText or eText 2.0 format depends on the book. Your book is in eText format unless you see eText 2.0 when you open it from the course.
Full featured eText apps are available for either iPad or Android tablets and for either college or high school courses.
Tip: You may also be able to read your eText as a PDF on a smartphone or tablet using the eText 2.0 mobile app. (Other features, such as bookmarks and notes are not supported.) See next section for more about the eText 2.0 app.
Important: Several apps are available for eText titles associated with Mastering courses. Be sure to download the correct app for your course:
Pearson eText for all college courses
Pearson eText for Campus for college courses labeled MyLabsPlus or MasteringPlus
Pearson eText for Schools for school (non-college) courses in the USA |
Pearson eText 2.0 apps for Higher Education are available for iOS or Android smartphones and iPad or Android tablets.
Recommended: The best way for you and your students to get the applicable app is from the eText 2.0 web application. (This avoids possible confusion with the number of different Pearson eText apps available from the App Store and Google Play.)
For instructions on how to get the app and other technical details, see eText 2.0 App: FAQs.
